Large Ferry Boats
We have travelled on large car ferry boats to get between islands, across large fjords and to go between countries
In 1998 we took a tour of Europe and went on a large ferry boat between Dover in the UK and Calais, France.
You can see the White Cliffs of Dover in the background
In 2004 we were on car ferries around the Seattle, Whidbey Island
and Vancouver areas. Chilly ride but excellent scenery
In 2018 we took ferries in Norway to cross large fjords and to go between islands. The ferry boats
operate 24/7/365 as they are considered part of the highway systems
